Gents Omega Military P17.8 1943 WW2 ERA Radium Sub Dial Bonklip Watch – Working.

In the 1940s Omega was commissioned by the UK military and its allies to produce watches. They were the number one supplier and proved how resilient and industrial their watches were.

This beautiful 1943 WW2 ERA omega has the p17.8 movement popular with military watches of that era. This is truly a collectors watch. It has a unique Radium dial, lumed fingers (that glow) and subsidiary dial. Coupled with a Firth’s military bonklip, what a great example of an omega which is in great condition and stood the test of time since the WW2 era. Coming from the WW2 era you can see how this was influenced by the pilot watch and looks military in style. A great investment as these vintage luxury watches keep rocketing in value just like classic cars!. This watch will be the perfect for your collection and I think you will struggle to come across another In this original condition from this era.
